Coach Who???
About Me and This Blog
If I was feeling pretentious, I’d write this in the 3rd person, but I’m not, so I won’t.
This blog is for me to share what I’m learning from my own training and the training of others. As much as anything else it’s a place for me to get my ideas in order and record my thoughts at the time.
Think of this as a record of the evolution of my training and coaching ideas.
I’m here to help, not to sell anything.
Who Am I??
A good question but without going too deep, I’m a strength and conditioning addict who feeds his habit by training himself and others in the ways of STRENGTH, POWER, SPEED and just about any other useful physical attribute.
I am the sole owner and coach of CrossFit Westcountry – a small, functional training space located in a quiet corner of South-west England.
I have a passion for strength sports and when not training am usually researching. This means I usually have a whole bunch of things I’m waiting to try out and this blog is a way for me to document what works and what doesn’t.
Part training journal, part magazine, I hope this all proves useful for someone out there. As I always say “if something I can do makes a difference for just 1 person, then it’s worth it”.
Please feel free to ask any questions via the comments pages as we go along.
